Definition


Motherboard is the most important part of the computer system which controls the working of the all devices connected to it. It is an electronic system fixed on printed circuit board which has number of connectors to connect the other devices to it.


History


When computers comes into existence at that time computer components were connected by some circuitry board, so that each connector linked to its corresponding connector.
